RISKS
As with any medical procedure, complications can arise but are rare. All patients are required to take a course of antibiotics in order to prevent infection. To avoid bleeding/bruising, it is also recommended that patients avoid aspirin, anti-inflammatories and some vitamins. Puckering can sometimes occur, but will either resolve spontaneously or can be eased with massage.
It is particularly rare to feel or see threads near the insertion point, but if this happens the threads can be trimmed. If in the instance that asymmetry occurs, adjustments to the threads can be made on either side to correct/minimise this.

Two to four years
