DESCRIPTION
Vitiligo (which causes white patches to appear on the skin) and Psoriasis (causing dry, red skin patches) are both very common in the UK. If you're a sufferer, laser therapy offers significant relief. We use UVB and UVA Phototherapy, both of which simulate natural sunlight without the negative effects.

RISKS
Phototherapy is a non-evasive form of laser treatment and risks are minimal. Redness, burning and skin irritation may occur but only temporarily.
There is a very small risk of skin burn, and a risk of developing cataracts, which is why patients will be asked to wear eye protection.
DURATION OF RESULTS
Phototherapy is a semi-permanent solution but can be used in conjunction with other treatments for these skin conditions.
