Stretch Marks

DESCRIPTION
Stretch marks, which usually appear during a growth spurt or pregnancy, take the form of silvery scars on the skin. Fortunately, these stretch marks can be easily and safely eliminated using laser treatment. We use UVB and UVA1 Phototherapy, both of which simulate natural sunlight without the negative effects.

RISKS
Phototherapy is a non-evasive form of laser treatment and risks are minimal. Redness, burning and skin irritation may occur but only temporarily.
There is a very small risk of skin burn, and a risk of developing cataracts, which is why patients will be asked to wear eye protection.
DURATION OF RESULTS
A number of phototherapy treatments should permanently fade or even eliminate stretch marks, provided the body is not subjected to growth or change that will make them reappear.
